Mr. Steven Allen Walters, 33, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  Born, May 4, 1988 in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of Marshall Wayne and Abigail Smith Walters.  Steven served his country proudly for eight years in the United States Marine Corps including a deployment to Afghanistan.  He worked for Carolina Canners in Cheraw, SC.  Steven loved to play golf, video games, softball, and any other sports.  He also enjoyed shooting and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Marsh Fulton Walters; paternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Johnson; and maternal grandmother, Patricia Ann Smith.

Steven leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Haylee Maire Walters of Hope Mills, NC and Kameryn Jayne Walters of Huntersville, NC; his parents, Marshall W. Walters and Abigail Smith Walters; a sister, Khristene W. Bostwick of Charlotte, NC; and maternal grandparents, James “Pete” Smith and Janice H. Smith.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Mission of Faith Community Church in Wallace, SC.  Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery with Military Honors.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.
