Reese Stubbs

Reese "Little Daddy" Harrington Bingham Stubbs, 71, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Born in Bennettsville, SC he was the son of the late Arthur Bernard Stubbs, Sr. and Laura Ann Simmons Stubbs and the late Reese Harrington Bingham, Sr. He was a US Navy Veteran serving as a corpsman during the Vietnam War. He had been a store owner in Bennettsville, SC and was retired from food service as a manager. Reese enjoyed playing cards. He loved being with family and friends. He loved the Lord and was a believer. He now is in his true home and was a faithful servant.

Surviving is his daughter, Anna Lee Corradi Stubbs Berrios of Palm Coast, FL, a grandson, Jaiden Reese Alexander Berrios,( who called him Little Papa Reese) siblings, Daryl (Kit) Stubbs of Charleston, SC, A. B. “Bun” (Susan) Stubbs, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Sally (Keith) Smith of Cheraw, SC, Laura Lee Stubbs of Lexington, SC, a former wife, Alexandra Townsend Corradi Bartlett  Also, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parent listed above, also Fitz Simmons and Anna Lee Simmons who he affectionately referred to as Uncle Fitz and Granny.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 24, 2019 at Old St. David’s Cemetery.
