Leroy "Pedro" Goodale, Jr.

Leroy “Pedro” Goodale, Jr., 83, died Monday, June 17, 2019. Born in Cheraw, SC, he was a son of the late Roy and Wilma Goodale. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he served in the choir for many years. He was a US Navy veteran. He enjoyed playing golf and even after retirement, he found himself working at the Cheraw State Park golf course where he loved his job.

He is survived by a son, Chad (Regina) Goodale, of Cheraw, SC, daughters, Sherry Goodale of Cheraw, SC, Tracey Goodale of Cheraw, SC, and Christie Goodale Fleming of Lexington, SC, brothers, Vernon Goodale of Rock Hill, SC, Lloyd Goodale of Lake Wylie, SC, Gene Goodale of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Jimmy Goodale of Atlanta, GA, a sister, Mary Goodale Williams of Statesville, NC, four grandchildren, Emily (Chris) Andrews, Preston Weatherford, Eliana Fleming, and Sophie Goodale and one great-grandchild Payton Andrews.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, and a brother, Charles Caulder.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Kiser Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
