Mrs. Janie Caulder Howle, 86, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021.  Born on September 1, 1934 in Chesterfield County, she was a daughter of the late Jackson Allie Caulder and the late Laura Nezzie Rushing Caulder. Janie was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Cheraw, SC.  She was also a member of a Dominoes Club, enjoyed reading, taking care of her flowers and loved all animals and pets.  Janie was a caretaker and loved taking care of people in all walks of life, so much so, that she went back to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant at the age of 70.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Leslie “Fred” Howle, Jr.; a son, Leslie E. Howle; brothers, Jackson Noel Caulder, Edward Lynn Caulder, and Charles Franklin Caulder; and sisters, Valdese Patterson, and Katie Lee Grant.

Janie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her granddaughter, Laura Howle Brown of Pamplico, SC; her longtime friend and caregiver, Ann Shipley of the home; and several nieces and nephews.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021. Burial will follow at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Kiser Funeral Home.  The family requests that you follow Covid-19 protocol for the visitation.
