Charles Wesley Allen, 74, died Thursday, July 23, 2020. Born in Chesterfield, SC he was the son of the late Floyd N and Audrey Mae Johnson Allen. He was a Mason and Gideon. Mr. Allen was a member of Cheraw First Baptist (Friendship Sunday School Class). He was retired from J.P. Stevens/Delta Woodside. He enjoyed playing golf and watching college football, NASCAR, Soccer and basketball.

He is survived by his wife Maxine L. Allen of Cheraw, SC, sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Fletcher) Barnes of Laurinburg, NC, Agnes Walters of Raeford, NC, Christine Locklear of Laurinburg, NC, brother-in-law, Cam (Pat) Locklear of Chesterfield, SC, great grandchildren of the heart, Hope Walters and Luke Walters, 7 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews.

He was preceded by his parents listed above and a sister, Patsy Matthews.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Cheraw First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
