Celia W. Melton, 93, died Saturday, September 19, 2020. Born in Chesterfield County and was a daughter of the late Neal and Elliott Stroud Wilks. She was the widow of Rudolph Melton. She was a member of Wallace Baptist Church, Wallace, SC. She was retired textile worker.

Surviving is her son Thomas F. (Wanda) Melton of Lexington, SC, grandchildren, Thomas F. Melton, Jr., Sherri Polyak, great grandchildren, Haley B. Rabon, Maddie Swaid, Reagan Melton, Kennedy Melton, T. J. Melton, Hadley Melton, Kendall Polyak and Tinsley Polyak, brothers, E.M. Wilks and David Wilks both of Hartsville, SC, also, a daughter of heart and caregiver, Dorothy R. Teal.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above and a grandson, Chad Melton.

A graveside service will be held 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
