Betty Louise Hatcher, 73, passed away at home, Wednesday, October 28, 2020, with her family by her side. Born in Whiteville, NC she was a daughter of the late Gary Lee and Ernestine Rebecca Todd McElveen. She was retired from INA Bearing (26+years.) She loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and being with family and friends.

Surviving is her son, Gary Mitchell (Bonnie) Hatcher of Salisbury, MD, fiancé, William Burroughs, brothers, Boyd Johnson of Concord, NC, Johnny (Mary) Johnson of Cheraw, SC, Gary (Shirley) McElveen of Wallace, SC, Phillip (Bobbie) McElveen of Cheraw, SC, sisters, Mary Ann (Roger) Mabe of Jackson Spring, NC, Brenda Mesiemore of Zepher Hills, FL, brother-in-law, Tony Boatwright of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Jason (Valerie) Hatcher, Collin (Becky) Hatcher, Rodney Hatcher, Nickie Hatcher, Katie Hatcher and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, sons, Jimmy Darrell Hatcher, Jesse Mitchell Hatcher, a sister, Connie Boatwright, a brother-in-law, Johnny Mesiemore and a sister-in-law, Peggy Johnson.

A private family service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens (Public invited) 2:45 PM, Saturday, October 31, 2020.
