Mr. William Thompson “Tommy” Clinkscales, 72, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.  Born, March 18, 1949 in Abbeville, SC he was a son of the late William Thompson Clinkscales, Sr. and the late Elsie Curtis Palmer Clinkscales.  Tommy was a Retired Building Official and Contractor.  In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, gardening, raising livestock and even had a hand in wine making.  He also loved animals.

Along with his parents, listed above, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Thelma Clinkscales.

Tommy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 54 years, Lisa Roller Clinkscales of the home; his son, William T. Clinkscales, III of Fort Pierce, FL; a daughter, Melissa Shaver (Bryan) of Wallace, SC; brothers, Timmy Clinkscales (Denise) of Wallace, SC and Don Clinkscales of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Martha Hester (Larry) of Rock Hill, SC and Cindi Brigman (Charles) of Cheraw, SC; and three grandchildren, Jacob Shaver, Nathan Shaver and John Shaver.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Kiser Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Friday.
