Thomas Jackson "Jack" Baker

Thomas Jackson “Jack” Baker, 79, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Born in Monroe, NC, he was the son of the late Thomas Carroll and Evelyn Gregory Baker. Jack was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cheraw and a charter member of the Rotary Club of Cheraw. He was the owner/operator of Baker’s Motel for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Sloan Ingram Baker, of Cheraw, SC, a daughter, Kimball Baker of Murrells Inlet, SC, and grandchildren, Hunter Baker, Ingram Baker and Sydney Baker.

He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Watt Baker, and his parents listed above.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
