Sue L. Williams, 87, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Born in Lancaster County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Annie Hinson Sims, and the widow of Mr. Ira Braxton “I.B.” Williams, Jr. (She and Mr. “I.B.” were fondly remembered for holding hands everywhere they went.) She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cheraw and part of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She loved the Lord. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Mrs. Williams enjoyed gardening, and cooking.

Surviving are her sons, I.B. Williams, III and his wife Cynthia of Lincolnton, NC, Myron Williams and his wife Terri of Cheraw, SC, a daughter, Arlene W. Leviner and her husband James of Rockingham, NC, 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents listed above, as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in the foyer of the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the sanctuary at First Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be held in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens following the service.
