Steve Harpe

Cheraw, SC

James Stephen (Steve) Harpe, 59, died Friday, March 8, 2019 after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Cheraw, SC he was the oldest son of the late James Colon (JC) Harpe and Dorothy Pearl Stafford Harpe.

He is survived by his brother, Matthew Harpe of Cheraw, SC his significant friend Clova Smith of Cheraw, SC and his grand-pup who he treasured, Pauliana Mitch Smith. He also has numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in both the Harpe and Stafford families.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, March 11, 2019 at North Cheraw Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
