Sheila Caulder Rivers, 66, died on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.  Born, October 23, 1956, in Rockingham, NC, she was a daughter of the late Hoover Harley and Gracie Mae Roscoe Caulder.  Sheila was an EMT with the Wallace Rescue Squad for 25 years and worked security with Domtar for over 20 years.  She enjoyed working, and most of all loved her children and grandchildren.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ruth Ladd.

Sheila leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Jason Rivers and wife, Heather of Wallace, SC, and Kelvin Rivers of Wallace, SC; brothers, Wayne Caulder (Joy) of Cheraw, SC, and David Caulder (Lisa) of Michigan; grandchildren, Makayla Steen, Makenzi Rivers, Anna Rivers, Landon Nolan, Hank Rivers, and Hunner Rivers; a daughter-in-law, Ashley Thomas of Wallace, SC; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 7, 2023, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wallace, SC.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. just prior to the service on Monday at the Funeral Home.

Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Rivers family in their time of grief.
