Ruby Quick Allen, 67, died Friday, June 10, 2016.  Born in Bennettsville, SC she was a daughter of Elease Steen Quick and the late William Shuford Quick, Jr.  She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and also served as an Assistant Sunday School Teacher.

Surviving are her mother listed above, a son, John Paul (Sarah) Allen of Fort Mill, SC, brothers, Alexander (Minnie) Chavis of Cheraw, SC, and William Shuford (Elaine) Quick III of Wallace, SC, a sister, Donna Lee (Ron) Chavis of Rockingham, NC, and four grandchildren, Morgan Carlisle Allen, William Spencer Allen, Grace Katherine Allen and Laurin Elizabeth Allen.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Bennettsville, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Bennettsville, SC.

Burial will be in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bennettsville, SC.
