Wallace, SC

Rosa “Rosie” Lee Leviner, 93, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Born, August 19, 1932, in Scotland County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Harley and Annie Lee Langley English.

Rosie was a devoted member of King’s Gate Church in Hamlet, NC, where she had the honor of teaching Sunday School. She also worked at Bi-Lo in the Meat Department, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to her community. In her leisure time, Rosie enjoyed crocheting and visiting the beauty shop, cherishing those moments spent catching up with friends. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, listed above, Rosie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tommie Leviner; brothers, Howard English and Wilson English; and her sister, Margaret James.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Sammy Leviner (Gloria) of Cheraw, SC and Ronnie Leviner (Cathy) of Cheraw, SC; her daughter, Pam Jackson (Steve) of Wallace, SC; grandchildren, Craig Leviner (Paula) of Greenville, NC, Phillip Leviner (Candace) of Cheraw, SC, Tabatha Rainwater (David) of Cheraw, SC, Shaun Leviner of Cheraw, SC, Trenton Chavis of Wallace, SC, and Meghan Trexler (Daniel) of Wadesboro, NC; great-grandchildren, Adrian Aycock (Debbie), Shelton Goodwin (Tori), Aspen Cumbo (Brian), Cameron Leviner (Kennedy), Cody Leviner (Christie), Jace Davis, Jagger Leviner, Paxton Leviner, Ava Caulder, Dalton Leviner, Celeste Rainwater, Trevor Rainwater, Tierni Leviner, Mason Leviner, Paislee Leviner, Meighan Quinn (Matt), and Belle Trexler; and great-great grandchildren, Audrina Aycock, Judith Goodwin, Hattie Goodwin, Ruth Goodwin, Leighton Cumbo, Sutton Cumbo, Jacoby Leviner, Luka Leviner, Mattie Quinn and Marley Quinn.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC with burial following in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery in Wallace, SC.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service Tuesday at the Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ronnie Leviner, 3113 Brocks Mill Road, Cheraw, SC 29520 and Mrs. Rosie’s home.

Memorials may be made to the King’s Gate Food Pantry, 161 Sierra Ave., Hamlet, NC 28345.
