Patricia Ann Craven Byrd, 79, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Born, January 26, 1946, in Randleman, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Pryor and Eddie Mae York Craven.

Patricia dedicated her career to Schaeffler and was an active member of Shiloh Methodist Church in Chesterfield, SC. She had a passion for attending singings and dances and found great joy in fishing. Patricia was known for her vibrant spirit, often frequenting auctions on Friday nights and exploring yard sales on Saturday mornings. She cherished the time spent supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events and took pleasure in working in her yard. A compassionate individual, Patricia often reached out to those in need, going to the food bank and providing assistance to others. She lovingly cared for her husband prior to his passing and had a fondness for watching Westerns.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Bennett Byrd; her brother, Colvin Craven; and her sister, Jackie Flournoy.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Connie Byrd Cooper of Wallace, SC and Holly Byrd Copeland (Chad) of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Sarah Anne Cooper, TJ Knight (Victoria), Alex Knight, Drew Copeland, and Reece Segars; great-grandchildren, Gavin Cooper Kennedy, Lillie Ray Kennedy, Daisy Knight, and Porter Knight; and nephews, Richard Flournoy, and Tim Flournoy.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Kiser Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon just prior to the service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Byrd family in their time of grief.
