Myrtle Beatrice Turner Parker, “Forever 39,” died Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Born in Marlboro County, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Durant and Amanda Chavis Turner. She was the widow of Lonnie Legette Parker, Sr. Mrs. Parker was a member of First Southern Methodist Church of Chesterfield County. She enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family, and singing with the Ebenezer Ladies, especially at nursing homes for the residents.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Cheraw Healthcare for the care given to Mrs. Parker.

She is survived by her sons, Jackie Walter (Mott) Parker of Edisto Beach, SC, Dwight “Bucky” (Cathy) Parker of Cheraw, SC and Gregory Dean (Denise) Parker of Marion, SC, daughter-in-laws, Joan Parker of Bennettsville, SC and Linda Parker of Cheraw, SC, thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, sons, Lonnie Legette Parker, Jr., and James Durant Parker.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Kiser Funeral Home.

A funeral will follow at 1:00 PM at Kiser Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
