Mary Lee Knight, 71, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Born in Altavista, VA she was a daughter of Helen Delores Atkinson Crawford of Laurinburg, NC and the late Carrington Benjamin Crawford, Sr. She was the widow of James “Fidler” Knight. She was a member of Cheraw Family Worship Center. She loved spending time with family, sewing, making crafts, reading her Bible and spending time with God through prayer.

Surviving are her daughters, Pam (Tony) Butler of Cheraw, SC, Natasha (Scott) Kelley of Wadesboro, NC, her mother listed above, sisters, Marie (Terry) Holt of Maxton, NC, Betty Shepherd of Laurinburg, NC, Teresa (Dennis) Turner of Laurinburg, NC, sisters-in-law Teresa Pearce and Judy Crawford both of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Blake (Ashley) Butler, Brooke Butler, Ricky George, Brycen Brower, and great grandchild, Dalton Ratliff.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father listed above, also, her son, Carrington “Heath” Knight, brothers, Henry Crawford, Billy Crawford, C.B. Crawford, Jr., a sister, Hazel Etherton, brothers-in-law, Mark Shepherd, I. and Houston Chavis.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
