Mary Helen Harrelson, 59, died Monday, June 02, 2014. Born in Bennettsville, SC she was a daughter of  the late Ronald and Jeanie Haire Harrelson. She attended Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters, Penny (Daniel) Cox of Wallace, SC, Stacy (Trey) Weinberg of Darlington, SC, a brother, Rev. Joe (Myrtle) Jacobs of Maxton, NC, sisters, Julie Locklear of Monroe, NC, Frances (Gus) Deladgo of Rockingham, NC, Beth (Wayne) Chavis of Red Springs, NC, Janice (Randy) Jackson of Laurinburg, NC, grandchildren, Katelyn Kerns, Alex Kerns, Abby Kerns, Kimberly Parsons, Gaitley Weinberg, Makayla Weinberg, and Blake Weinberg. Also her fiancé James Steen.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Wallace, SC. A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
