Margie Helms White, 74, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. Born in Albemarle, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Edgar and Cora Jane Austin Helms. She was the widow of Bill White. She was a member of North Cheraw Baptist Church. Mrs. White loved spending time with her grandchildren, and “new” great-grandson, Brady. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and talking with her friends.

She is survived by her step-son, Michael (Erica) Odom of Nashville, TN, brothers, Roy Helms of Polkton, NC, and Kenneth (Patsy) Helms of Marshville, NC, grandsons, John Harrison (Kathryn Paige) Sartor III of Cheraw, SC and Matthew Robert Sartor of Cheraw, SC and a great-grandson, Brady Harrison Sartor.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents listed above, a daughter, Melinda White Sartor, and a brother, Gene Helms.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
