Mable Elizabeth Wicker Brown

Mable Elizabeth Wicker Brown, 89, died Saturday, August 27, 2022. Born in Wallace, SC she was a daughter of the late William Roland and Donnie Bennett Wicker. She was a member of the Surfside Baptist Church. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross (Cheraw Chapter and Myrtle Beach Chapter) also, the Myrtle Beach Salvation Army, Mercy Hospice of Conway, and CASA (domestic violence center). Mrs. Brown was a member of 2 bridge clubs, also, the Chesterfield Square Dancers and the Cheraw Couples Club. She loved travelling all over the world with her husband and sharing adventures with her friends in Cheraw. She enjoyed everything in nature and had a green thumb and could grow anything. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Gene Brown of the home, sons, Chuck Brown of Fort Mill, SC, David Brown of Cheraw, SC, daughters, Brenda Briggle of Blythewood, SC, Minta Bolton of Myrtle Beach, SC, grandchildren Kyle Pugh, Jarrod Bolton Julie Blackwell, Katherine Brown, Caitlin Cox and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, a brother, Billy Wicker and a sister, Ellen Griggs.

The family will receive friends 12 noon to 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.
