Louise Polk Rhyne

Louise Polk Rhyne, 76, died on Sunday, March 20, 2022.  Born, December 29, 1945, in Hartsville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Robert and Bertice Ingram Polk. Louise loved to read, drink coffee, napping, and going shopping at the thrift store.  She worked most of her life for Chesterfield Manufacturing and then as a clerk in the health care profession.  More than anything, she loved her family.

Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her husband, Parson Rhyne; brothers, Charlie “Monk” Polk, Jr. and James “Bo” Polk; a sister Emma Jean “Sissy” McLain, and Maggie Lee “Kee Pee” McLain.

Mrs. Rhyne leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son, Fred P. Rhyne, II of the home; a daughter, Jada Quick (Wayne) of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Cruz Quick (Jackie) and Taylor Quick Nash (Timmy); a great-grandchild, Stone Nash; and her best friend of 50 years, who communicated daily, Doris Teal.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Patrick Cemetery in Patrick, SC.
