Kimberlee Polson

Kimberlee White Polson, 50, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Born in Cheraw, SC she was a daughter of Marie (Roger) Poston White Seals of Cheraw, SC and the late Charles Ray White. She was a graduate of Cheraw High School and Francis Marion University. Kim’s first job after college was as a Social Worker with Chesterfield General Hospital, Cheraw, SC. Mrs. White worked for the Greenville County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs (20 plus years) as a supervisor of Early Intervention. Her passion was always for children and she supported the efforts of St. Jude’s Hospital. She was an avid reader and an accomplished musician.  She loved and cared for others and her smile would light up a room. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister.

Surviving is her husband of 21 years, Bryan L. Polson of the home, a daughter Madeline Rae Polson of the home, her mother listed above, a sister Hope (Andy) White English of Cheraw, SC, mother-in-law, Sylvia Stafford Polson, brother-in-law Joey Polson of Cheraw, SC and sister-in-law, Cindy Polson Moore of Greer, SC, a niece and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father listed above, material grandparents, Bailey and Lucy Poston and paternal grandparents, John and Virginia White.

A memorial service will be held graveside 2:00 PM Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC. The family will receive friends at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens following the service.
