John Julian McQueen, 89, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Born in Bennettsville, SC he was a son of the late Johnny and Maggie Owens McQueen and the widower of Bonnie Quick Hall McQueen. He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and also attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He was an insurance agent with Woodman of the World.

Surviving are his sons Joseph L Hall of Wallace, SC, Kellon Hall of Cheraw, SC, John Hall of Bennettsville, SC, a sister, Lillian Richardson of Florence, SC, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife listed above, also, a brother Eldred McQueen, a sister, Marguerite Lemonds and a granddaughter Millie E. Hall.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Bennettsville, SC. Burial will be in the Stubbs Cemetery, Bennettsville, SC.
