Juanice W. Berry, 72 died Saturday, July 26, 2025. She was born in Cheraw, SC.

Juanice was well known for her joyous love for Christ, her son, Darit, and her puppy Panda. A genuine southern lady, her sweet and loving personality brought her friends and smiles wherever she went. Juanice loved to give and share joy and blessings with others as often as she could. God used her to minister to others throughout her life, her service as a church secretary and treasurer, through a food ministry and her love of cooking. She loved mother-son outings, riding town and socializing with Panda, sharing childhood stories and life lessons, reading, chatting with friends until late in the night, and decorating year-round.

She is survived by her son Darit A. Berry of Cheraw, SC, her father, James Spencer, brothers, Jim (Lorie) Spencer of Cheraw, SC, Joe (Jennette) Spencer of Cheraw, SC, Jeff (Tracy)Spencer of Cheraw, SC, David (Deronda) White of Cheraw, SC, and a grandson Trent Berry of SC.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Spencer. 

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Maranatha Family Center in Cheraw, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. just prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
