Joyce Smith English, 76, died Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Born in Hamlet, NC she was a daughter of the late Rozell Smith and Jennie Mae English. She was the widow of Joseph D. English. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Wallace, SC. She was a loving caretaker of family members and people in the community.

Her survivors include her daughters, Cindy (Randy) Polson, Sheila (Shaune) Whitten, Melinda J. English all of Wallace, SC, grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley) Cohoon, Joseph (Amber) Cohoon, James (Nikki) Polson, Jadon English, great grandchildren, Landon Cohoon, Lillie Cohoon, Bentley Cohoon, Colton Cohoon, Kayleigh Polson, Brayden Polson, Aubree Polson, a sister, Barbara Sue Clark of Laurel Hill, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and a sister, Leatha Steen.

The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, June 10, 2016 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Wallace, SC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 10, 2016 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Wallace, SC.
