Mrs. JoLynn Huggins Johnson, 93, entered the loving arms of her Savior on Sunday, March 17, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born in Hartsville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie A. and Hazel Langley Huggins. JoLynn grew up and was educated in Hartsville. JoLynn was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Cheraw, where she was a part of the Faith and Hope Sunday School class and the Mission Action #2 Women’s Circle. JoLynn worked for many years and later retired from Stanley Tool Company in Cheraw, South Carolina.
JoLynn was a loving wife of 70 years, a devoted mother, granny, and great granny. For the past two years, JoLynn resided in Rose Garden of Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community. She was a shining light to all of those around her.
She was predeceased by her parents listed above; her loving, devoted husband, Charles Ralph Johnson; brothers, Lorraine Huggins, Laverne Huggins, and Carlton Huggins; and sisters, Betty Garland and Jackie Proctor.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Terrie J. Sheets (Ricky) of Bennettsville, SC, Susan H. Johnson of Columbia, SC, and Robin J. Vincent (Mark) of Columbia, SC. Lovingly known as “Granny” she is also survived by her grandchildren, Steve Petrick of Rome, Italy, Justin (Leah) Richardson of Columbia, Cameron (Jessica) Sheets of Spring Town, TX, Kyle Vincent of Nashville, TN, and Julia-Grace Vincent of Greenville, SC; and great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Farris, and McLane Richardson of Columbia, SC, and Sofia Sheets of Spring Town, TX; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 22, 2024, in the Chapel of Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family committal will follow.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the team of care givers at Still Hopes Rose Garden Community, to Prisma Health Hospice staff and Dr. Tareq Haidary. Also, our family appreciates the tenderness, love and kindness Allison Orr has shown Granny and PaPa throughout the years.
Please pray for God’s peace to carry us through the coming days and months of sorrow as we mourn her absence from our lives. We would like to thank Kip Kiser and his dedicated staff for their service to our family.
