Johnny Franklin Teal

Cheraw, SC

Mr. Johnny Franklin Teal, 78, died on Thursday, May 26, 2022.  Born, August 7, 1943, in Chesterfield County, SC, he was the son of the late Franklin Eugene and Ella Brown Teal. 

Johnny worked in the early part of his career with IBEW Union #379 in Charlotte, NC as an electrician.  After retiring from there, he returned home to open his own businesses; Midway Electric, Cheraw Hardware, and finally S & T Alignment for 39 years.  After retiring, Johnny enjoyed wood working, gardening, and camping.

Johnny leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 34 years, Felicia Lowrimore Teal of the home; a daughter, Sara Jean Teal of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Patricia T. Sellers of Cheraw, SC, and Wanda T. Rivers, and husband Randy of Chesterfield, SC; his niece, Brandie Rivers of Chesterfield, SC; and a nephew, Michael Scott Rivers of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Teal family in their time of grief.
