Johnny Mitchell Foster, 73, died October, 29, 2020. Born in Louisberg, NC he was a son of Dorothy Campbell Foster of Columbia, SC and the late James P. Foster. He was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed singing, playing, the guitar and taking walks on the beach with Shannon Foster his wife.  Johnny enjoyed “teaching” sharing his knowledge with other when fishing.  He enjoyed sports and spending time with “Shannon” his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon Gail Brooks Foster of Cheraw, SC, sons, Jason Foster of Florence, SC, James “Rusty” Foster of Darlington, SC, Michele Foster Watford of Florence, SC, a stepdaughter, Lauren Elise Lasso of Celebration, FL, his mother listed above, brothers, Jerry Foster of Knoxville, TN, Russ Foster of Columbia, SC and a brother-in-law, Michael Brooks of Danville, VA, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father listed above and a brother, Rick Foster.

A graveside memorial service with military honors, will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Florence National Cemetery, Florence, SC
