James “Jimmy” Edward Pierce, Jr. 54, died Saturday, May 26, 2018. Born in Florence, SC he was a son of the late James Edward Pierce, Sr. and Nancy Elvia Brown Pierce. He had been employed by Sonoco in Hartsville, SC. He was an avid Clemson fan. He enjoyed golfing.

Surviving is his wife, Marjorie Horne Pierce of Hartsville, SC, a son, Matthew Ryan Pierce of Hartsville, SC, a daughter, Haley Noel Pierce of Hartsville, SC, a brother, Donnie (Mary) Pierce of Bonneau, SC, a sister, Carolyn Pierce of Florence, SC, nephews, Aaron Nesmith, Darren Pierce, Derrick Pierce, D.J. Pierce, nieces, Kristin (John) Hart, Courtney (Eric) Yanke, Amanda Nesmith and a great niece, Charleigh Hart.

The family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Wallace Baptist Church, Wallace, SC.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Wallace Baptist Church, Wallace, SC.
