James "Jimmy" Hatcher

Mr. James “Jimmy” Raeford Hatcher, 56, died on Friday, January 21, 2022.  Born, March 24, 1965, in Chesterfield County, SC, he was a son of Barbara Melton Hatcher and the late Paul S. Hatcher, Sr. Jimmy enjoyed spending time fishing.

Along with his father, listed above, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Hatcher Chavis, and Nancy Hatcher Linton.

Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Barbara Payne and step-father, Keith Payne of Cheraw, SC, his wife, Connie Hatcher of Wallace, SC, step-children, Elvis Goins, Tracy Goins, and Casey Milligan, as well as eight step-grandchildren, daughters, Ashley and Heather Hatcher of Cheraw, SC, one granddaughter, Olivia Provau of Cheraw, SC, two sons, Roy and James Hatcher, a brother, Paul S. Hatcher, Jr. of Cheraw, SC, sisters, Peggy Cheek and husband, Leroy of Wallace, SC and Barbara Ann Lowery and husband, Donnie, of Morven, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wallace, SC.
