Howard “Dean” Brown, Jr. 55, died Monday, September 1, 2014. Born in Darlington, SC he was a son of the late Howard “Buddy” Brown, Sr. and Jaunita Keith Brown. He enjoyed all kinds of music, building things, reading, riding on dirt roads, fishing, college football, and was a World War II history buff. He loved having cookouts with family and friends.

Surviving is his wife, Joyce Ellen Perkins Brown of the home, a son, Howard Kevin Brown of Laurinburg, NC, a daughter, Audrey Ellen Brown of Cheraw, SC, brothers, Ricky Brown of Cheraw, SC, Rodney Brown of Cassatt, a sister, Renee Brown of Hartsville and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, brothers, Tim Brown and Scott Brown.

The family will receive friends 4:00 PM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.
