George Robert "Bobby" McRae

George Robert “Bobby” McRae, Sr., 86, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Born in Cheraw, SC he was a son of the late Authur Julius and Corrie Mae Hinson McRae. He was a member of Cheraw First Baptist and the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was retired from Delta-Woodside. He was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed playing golf and watching baseball.

Surviving are his sons, George Robert (Beth)  McRae, Jr. of Darlington, SC, Phillips Lamoreux (Katherine) McRae, Sr. of Troy, NC, a daughter, Lillian Janice McRae of Shrewsbury, MA, a sister, Wilbert Mae Teal of Wadesboro, NC, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, December 26, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Cheraw First Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.  Burial will be in Old Saints David’s Cemetery.
