Fred Love, III

Fred Love, III, 74, died on Friday, August 18, 2023.  Born, May 10, 1949, in Dillon County, SC, he was a son of the late Fred Love, II and the late Myrtis McPhatter Love.  Fred was a welder by trade and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.  He also enjoyed playing Bluegrass Music, working on cars, cooking, and Harley’s.

Along with his parents, listed above, he was preceded in death by a brother, Giles Henry Love; and a sister, Debra Love Amerson.

Fred leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Melissa Love Lopez of Greer, SC, and Angela Pratt of Colorado; sisters, Linda Love of Latta, SC, Janice Love of Oak Grove, SC, and Cathy Love of Oak Grove, SC; and grandchildren, Brittany, Kristian, and Jessie.

The family will have a celebration of life, where they will cookout and enjoy each other’s company the way Fred would have wanted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 404 McCall Ave., Bennettsville, SC 29512.
