Evelyn P Perdue, 83, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019. Born in Jefferson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Emsey B Pierce and Cindy Mae Tarleton Pierce. She was also the widow of Woodrow F. Perdue. She was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church, a member of the Patrick Rescue Squad Rescuettes. She had served as the treasurer of the Patrick Playground Committee. She enjoyed car shows and was a member of the Sandhill Rattlers Car Club.

Surviving is her son, Dale Woodrow (Michelle) Perdue of Patrick, SC, daughter, Judy P. Walters of Hartsville, SC, brothers, Danny (Wanda) Pierce and Billy (Jackie) Pierce both of Hartsville, SC, sisters Patricia Brigman of Hartsville, SC, Elaine Donahue of Florida, grandchildren, Kimberly (William) Gardner, Christopher Walters, great-grandchild, Hannah Gardner.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Pierce and Buddy Pierce, sisters, Jeanette Morrison and Christine Miles.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the family residence, 35 Turnage Street, Patrick SC 29584.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, May 10, 2019, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Hartsville, SC. Burial will be in the Patrick Cemetery.
