Ernest Kimrey

Ernest Hill Kimrey, 79, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015.  Born in Cheraw, SC he was a son of the late Brack M. and Ruth Allen Kimrey.  He was a member of Cheraw First Baptist, the American Legion, and the Moose Lodge. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from the Becker Sand and Gravel Company (Hanson). He enjoyed golf, fishing, bowling and spending time with family.

Survivors are: a brother, Roger W. Kimrey of Chattahoochee, FL, a sister, Barbara Graham of Cheraw, SC and many nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, brothers,  Brack M. Kimrey, Jr., Douglas H. Kimrey and a sister, Vera K. Davis.

The family with receive friends 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2015 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2015 at Kiser Funeral Home.  Burial with military honors will be held in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC.
