Elease Quick, 91, died Thursday, June 7, 2018. Born in Rockingham, NC, she was a daughter of the late Boyd and Donnie Ella Steen. She was the widow of William Shuford Quick, Jr. Mrs. Quick was a faithful member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church for over 65 years, where she participated in missionary meetings and church missions. She was retired from James Fabrics. She enjoyed gardening and loved being around her family and friends.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Miranda and Amanda Steen and Lorina Cheek of the home, sons, Alexander (Minnie) Chavis of Cheraw, SC, and William Shuford (Elaine) Quick, III of Wallace, SC, a daughter Donna Lee (Ron) Chavis of Rockingham, NC, and also 7 additional grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents listed above, and a daughter, Ruby Allen.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00 PM on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Bennettsville, SC.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
