Edward McCall, age 82, from Florence, SC went to be with the Lord on October 20th, 2022. Affectionately known as Snoop, he was an avid Cowboy Fan, loved fishing, jazz, and playing word search. Edward was born on April 14, 1940, to James and Elouise McCall at the McLeod Infirmary. He lost his mother tragically at 3 months and was raised by his Grandmother Lulu Burno. He attended but did not matriculate the course of instruction in the Florence County School System before becoming a carpenter and handyman. He lived in Brockton, MA for 50 year before returning to Florence. He was a resident at the Burgess Residential Home in Dillion, SC until his transfer in September of this year to the Rehabilitation Center of Cheraw.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lulu Burno, his mother Elouise McCall, his father James McCall, and grandson Jamuri Adams.
He is survived by his son Walter Adams of Lexington Park, MD, his daughter Edwina McCall-Davis of Philadelphia, PA, his nine grandchildren Jadrien, Walter, Antoinette, Leslie, Cassia, Alexandria, and Brittany, ten great-grandchildren Jayla, Allejah, Kalyssa, London, Jayson, Karlee, Laylah, Amere, Suriyah, Serenity, and one great-great granddaughter, Suri.
The family will have a memorial at a later date.
