Edith Sergent

Edith Claudine Sergent, 89, died Friday, February 28, 2014. Born in Concord, NC she was a daughter of the late Evans G. Hargett Sr. and Rosa Gertrude Layton Hargett and the widow of  Don Sergent.

Surviving are her brother, Evans G. Hargett, Jr, a sister, Mable Talbert both of Concord, NC and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, also, brothers, Eugene Hargett, Arlen Hargett, Wade Hargett, sisters, Mary Ellen Brown and Burley Boyd.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2014 at Wilkinson Funeral Home, Concord, NC.
