Doris Evelyn “Popsy” Brown Smith Hatcher, 91, died Monday, January 04, 2016. Born in Laurel MD she was a daughter of the late Edward James and Maude Emma Fairall Brown. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women’s Ladies Circle of Oak Grove UMC.

Surviving is her son, Robert (Barbara) Smith of Frederick, MD, a daughter, Louis Greene of Jessup, MD, grandchildren, Michael Miller, Denise Shanken, Meredith Smith, and James Smith, six great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews

Visitation will be Tuesday January 5, 2016, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday January 6, 2016 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Wallace, SC. Interment will be at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wallace, SC.
