Doris Duke Haire, 87, died Thursday, February 26, 2026. Born in Marlboro County, SC she was a daughter of the late Walter L. and Hettie Roscoe Haire. She was a member of Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Wallace, SC.

Surviving is her sister, Louise Rivers of Wallace SC, “Son of the Heart”, James T. Haire of Wallace, SC, also, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents listed above, brothers, Alton Haire, Baxter Haire, Wilson Haire, sisters, Elaine Haire, Eva Walters, Laura McLendon, Evelyn Roberts and Bernice Oxendine.

The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday March 1, 2026, at Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Wallace, SC.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday March 1, 2026, at Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Wallace, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
