Dixie Yoder Griggs, 85, died Friday, February 16, 2018. Born in Wheeler, IL she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Susie Stroud Yoder. She was the widow of Henry V. Griggs Jr. (65 years). She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books and traveling.

Surviving is her son, Frank Wiseman of Cheraw, SC, a daughter, Susan (B.J.) Leviner of Cheraw, SC, granddaughters, Mary Parker and Lisa Parker of the home, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, sisters, Shilbiley Yoder-Niehoff of Altomont, IL, Judy often of Effingham, IL, Mary Yoder-Larry of Winterrowd, IL, and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Yoder of TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, also, a daughter, Mona Lisa Griggs Parker, brothers, Warren Yoder, Ronald Yoder, Charles Yoder, Perry Yoder, Leonard Yoder and a sister, Velma Jean Yoder Hubbard.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
