David Scott Boan, 54, died Thursday, June 29, 2017. Born in Cheraw, SC, he was a son of the late Ira Walker and Willie Mae Curry Boan. David enjoyed softball, boxing, fishing, and weightlifting.

Surviving are his sister, Gloria Butler of Conway, SC, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, and a brother, Phil Boan.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Kiser Funeral Home.

A funeral will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Kiser Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
