Darlene Ann Ward, 66 died April 4, 2018 born in Burbank, CA she was a daughter of the late John Theodore and Dolores Jean Thomas Romarewski. She is survived by her three daughters, three grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society

Death. What is death? Why is it that no one can explain it? Why does it feel like the pain will never go away? Why does it feel like a nightmare that we can’t wake up from? No one can explain the pain that you feel when you lose a parent, especially not one you’ve been close to your whole life, the one who literally raised us to be the women we are today.

Darlene was the matriarch of our family, as well as “Mom” to many. She loved with an open heart and always had an open ear and door. You could see the joy in her most her when she was able to bring joy to others. She was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. We take solace in knowing she is reunited with her son, brother, and parents.
