Dana Curtis McLaurin, 42, died Sunday, June 22, 2014. Born in Chesterfield, SC she was a daughter of Rachel Sellers Curtis of Chesterfield, SC and the late David Legrand Curtis, Sr. Mrs. McLaurin was a TAC Officer with the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office. She was a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. She was a teacher in Vacation Bible School, Sunday School and AWANA. She enjoyed fishing, watching birds, and camping. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving is her husband, Bob McLaurin, sons, Phillip McLaurin, David McLaurin all of the home, her mother listed above, a brother, David Legrand Curtis, Jr. of Chesterfield, SC, a sister, Ann Curtis Davidson of Chesterfield, SC, nieces, Miranda Leigh Curtis, Hannah Rae Davidson, nephews, Harlan McLaurin and Liam McLaurin.

The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Kiser Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Westfield Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.
