Courtney Paige Perdue, age 32, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2025. Born in Cheraw, SC, she was a daughter of Karen Perdue and the late Jody Black.

Courtney was a vibrant presence in the lives of those who knew her. She attended Marlboro County High School, where she was known for her outgoing personality, often described as the life of the party with a heart of gold. Courtney’s love for her children was unparalleled, and she found joy in traveling and helping others with their hair and makeup.

She is survived by her treasured children, Jayden Williams and Zaylee Perdue, both of Bennettsville, SC. Courtney is also lovingly remembered by her boyfriend, Olajuwon Ford of Bennettsville, SC, her mother, Karen Perdue (Bryant Quick) of Bennettsville, SC, her step-father, Calvin Smith of Wallace, SC, and her sisters, Destiny Quick (Thaddius) of Bennettsville, SC, Brittany Smith of Bennettsville, SC, Nieshia Williams of McColl, SC, Shalisa Williams of Cheraw, SC, and Bryanna Quick of Bennettsville, SC. Additionally, her special cousin, Walter Jones, and a special aunt, Marie Jones along with numerous nieces and nephews, hold her memory close to their hearts.
