Clyde M. Hewett

Clyde Marine Hewett, 75, died Monday, June 26, 2017. Born in Cheraw, SC, he was a son of the late C.N. and Ether Mae Lyons Hewett. He was a member at Midway Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He often volunteered at numerous nursing homes, ministering to the residents. He enjoyed watching football, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving is his brother, C.R. (Sheila) Hewett of Cheraw, SC, sisters, Jennie (Eddie) Duhe of New Orleans, LA, and Mamie Geraldine (James) Greear of North Myrtle Beach, SC, an aunt, Ernestine Barnes of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, seven nephews, four nieces, and several great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Midway Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.

A funeral service will be held, 12:00 PM, Friday, June 30, 2017 at Midway Baptist Church, Cheraw, SC.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
