Cecil Travis Odom, age 74, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at his home. He was born in Marlboro County, SC, on January 14, 1952, to the late E.H. Odom and Ina Mae Walters Odom.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Patsy Thomas, Linda Maynor and a brother Prentiss Odom.

Cecil was a painter, he loved the outdoors, old Mustangs, music and his beloved dog, Rebel.

He is survived by his wife, Carleen Owens, of the home, daughters, Kathy (Preston) Shaw of Wallace, SC, April (Justin) Odom of Cheraw, SC, Julie (Jack) Bruner of Florida, Anita (Kelvin) Seaborn of Florida, grandchildren, Eric (Jessica) Griggs, Jr. of Bennettsville, SC, Triston (Chy) Griggs of Wallace, SC, Zachary Garner and Bella Knight of Cheraw, SC, Mikayla Seaborn, Lane Seaborn, and Amy Bruner of Florida, ten great-grandchildren, sisters, Sybil (Sammy) Turner of Bennettsville, SC, Marilyn (Snooks) Coker of Bennettsville, SC, Agnes Polson of Cheraw, SC, Graylon (Erica) Odom of Michigan, Bo (Mai) Odom of McColl, SC, Gloria Williams of Cheraw, SC and many special nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, May 22, 2026, at 1:00PM in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens, Cheraw, SC.
