Cecil Earp

Mr. Cecil Earp, 87, died on Wednesday, October 13, 2021.  Born, August 6, 1934, in Spring Hope, NC, he was the son of the late Luther Canie and Lula Denton Earp. Cecil was a member of Brock’s Mill Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC. Mr. Earp served his country proudly in the United States Army. He retired as a truck driver with Stanley Tools.

Along with his parents, listed above, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Doris “Dot” Earp; best friend and son, Jeff Earp; and eleven siblings, including his twin sister, Renova.

Cecil leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sister-in-law, Delores Lewis and husband, Bobby; niece and caregiver, Linda Haynes and husband, Larry, niece, Lisa Beam and husband, Herbie and nephew, Kenny Lewis and wife, Carmen.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.  Burial will follow at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cheraw, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. just prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank Dr. Benjamin Weston and all of the nurses at McLeod Health-Cheraw for their care and compassion.
