Callahan Johnson

Chesterfield, SC

We are saddened to announce the loss of baby Callahan Johnson, who was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. Callahan was the beloved, expectant child of Seth and Grace Johnson.

“Our precious child was called to Heaven sooner than we would have ever thought, though the pain of today is unbearable and unimaginable, we must find strength in the Lord, whose plans are far greater than our own. Despite the pain of losing Callahan, we are thankful for the months we had. We lovingly honor our first child and believe that we will all be reunited one day.”

Psalm 139:13-16

"For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them."

Baby Callahan was welcomed into heaven by great-grandfathers, “Daddy G” Richard J. Gardner, Sr. and John D. Davis.

Left to cherish baby Callahan’s memory, parents, Seth and Grace Johnson of Chesterfield, SC; grandparents, Mark and Cathy Phillips of Ruby, SC, and Amanda Johnson of Chesterfield, SC; great-grandmothers, Marie Gardner of McBee, SC, and Kris Stothard of Wolcott, NY; uncles and aunts, Kyle and Katherine Phillips of Chesterfield, SC, Madison and Zack Sellers of Chesterfield, SC, Kensley Lewis and Dylan Owen of Cheraw, SC; cousins, Kaden, Rhett, Calhoun, and Poppy; and many more extended family members and close friends.

The family would like to thank their family and friends for their kindness and support throughout this difficult time.  Every prayer, text, call, flower, and food delivery has meant the world to them.

Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Johnson family during their time of grief.
