Bruce Wayne Steen , 59, died Monday, July 30, 2012, born in Marlboro County, he was a son of the late John Neil and Elizabeth Chavis Steen.  He was the widower of Vivian Ann Turner Steen.  He was a member of True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to church.

Surviving are his ; daughters: Melissa A. Turner, Pamela M. Steen and Lisa R. Steen all of Wallace, SC, brothers , Bryant (Geneva) Steen of Wallace, SC, Gary Steen of Wallace SC, sisters, Kathy Outlaw of Wallace, Nell Byrd of Wallace, SC, Mary Ann (Steve) Moody of Bennettsville, SC, Doris (Jerry) Kennedy of Fayetteville, NC, Helen (James) Tilley of Cheraw, SC, grandchildren, Timothy, Tristen, Nathaniel, Terrance, Keyrston, and Tanaysha.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, brothers, Charles Steen, James Steen, Bobby Steen, Hampton Steen, Neil Wesley Steen and a sister, Peggy Watson.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at The Emmanuel True Gospel Holiness Church, Wallace, SC.  A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Emmanuel True Gospel Holiness Church, Wallace, SC, burial will be in the Chavis Family Cemetery.
